List of statuses

• In preparation: The point has been created but not yet validated.
• Pending validation: The manager has made the validation request for the point.
• Validated: The definition of the point complies with the existing situation.
• Inactive: The point is no longer valid, but it can be validated again through a re-authorization.
• Canceled: The point no longer exists. This status is irreversible.

Structure point workflow

Creation and validation of a structure point

Depending on their role, a user can create a structure point with the "In preparation," "Pending validation," or "Validated" status.
If it is in preparation, the user can request validation by requesting approval. The points then switches to the "Pending validation" status.
The manager of the installed equipment considers the point to be correctly described: they validates it.

 

Disabling and re-authorizing

A point is no longer being used but still present in the installed equipment. The manager of the installed equipment disables it.
Following a restoration, the point is again used, the manager performs a re-authorization, and the point reverts back to the "Validated" status.

 

Permanent cancellation

The point has been removed from the installed equipment. Once cancelled, the manager switches it to the "Cancelled" status. This status is permanent.
