This screen gives an overview of the use of the application relative to the rights allowed by your license.
The information on this form is updated once the license has been loaded.
For information, in the context of license management:
- The abbreviation "UN" means "named users."
- The abbreviation "CS" means "simultaneous connections."
Header
- License number: Number of the license used.
- Licensee: Legal entity or person owning the license.
- License type: UN or CS sizing method (see above).
- Rights valid until: License expiry date.
- Warning: Date from with the message "The license will expire on DD/MM/YYYY" appears in the header bar.
Depending on the type of license acquired, the information displayed on the form will vary:

CS license

Number of current connections/Total number of authorized connections: Displays the number of CSs used (excluding CARL Touch mobile application connections) in total relative to the number of CSs allowed by the license.
It is always possible to connect using an "Administrator license," even if the total number of CSs has been reached.
In this specific case, the information above is supplemented by "+ [x ] Administrator(s)."

UN license
- Number of active users/Total number of authorized users: displays the number of active users present in the database (with the exception of the CARLSOURCE_LIC, License administrator user) relative to the number of UNs allowed by the license.

WR/PR CS profile rights (requester profiles)
- The information mentioned above remains displayed on the page, and "(excluding WR/PR profiles)" is added where appropriate. The UNs or CSs corresponding to the requester profiles are no longer counted in this metric.
- However, a new item of information, i.e. "Number of current connections/Total number of authorized connections (WR/PR profiles)," is displayed in order to obtain accurate information on user connections using requester profiles.
The "Total number of authorized connections" data item may have various values:
- [Number]: Corresponds to the number of WR/PR CSs acquired under the license.
- Unlimited: corresponds to the purchase on the option enabling unlimited connections of users with requester profiles.
The "Refresh" button is used to update the information on the form in real time to better monitor use of the application.
"Rights per module" sub-tab
The Consumption per module table is completed in the event that your license comprises non-homogeneous rights.
Each line corresponds to a module supervised through license checks (whether or not these modules are acquired under your own license):
- Module: Name of the module.
- Used: Number of CSs or UNs currently used.
- Acquired: Number of CSs or UNs acquired under your license.
- Associated profiles: List of profiles associated with the users using the rights (UN/CS).
Available actions
Using the
icon available in the Consumption per module table, it is possible to access various actions to obtain information on the profiles and/or users having an impact on consumption of the license rights:
- List of active users associated with profiles: used to access the list of active users whose profile(s) correspond to those in the "Associated profiles" column.
- List of connected users associated with profiles: used to access the list of active users connected to the application and whose profile(s) correspond to those in the "Associated profiles" column.
Information specific to a module can be obtained by selecting the checkbox at the start of the line before selecting the desired action.
"CARL Touch rights" sub-tab
The availability of this tab depends on your installation.
The Consumption per module table is completed in the event that your license comprises non-homogeneous rights.
Each line corresponds to a module supervised through license checks (whether or not these modules are acquired under your own license):
- Module: Name of the module.
- Used: Number of CSs or UNs currently used.
- Acquired: Number of CSs or UNs acquired under your license.
- Associated profiles: List of profiles associated with the users using the rights (UN/CS).
Available actions
Using the
icon available in the Consumption per module table, it is possible to access the:
- List of active devices that have not been used for 15 days: used to access the list of active devices that have not been used for 15 days, whose profile(s) correspond to those in the "Associated profiles" column.
Information specific to a module can be obtained by selecting the checkbox at the start of the line before selecting the desired action.
"CARL Flash rights" sub-tab
The availability of this tab depends on your installation.
The CARL Flash license restriction table provides indicators for tracking the consumption of CARL Flash licenses.
The five indicators provided are as follows:
- Number of licenses purchased.
- Number of licenses currently in use.
- Forecast number of licenses to be released within 1 month.
- Forecast number of licenses to be released within 3 months.
- Forecast number of licenses to be released within 6 months.
A CARL Flash license is automatically released if it is not used for a defined period (1 year).
