This feature allows you to list all the optimizations that have been carried out with different tracking information.
Each result line corresponds to an optimization identified by its shot number. The states of the line evolve depending on the progress of the optimization process.
Viewing the details of an optimization
You can view the details of an optimization by clicking on the shot number. Various conditions must be met to view the details of a CARL Optim optimization:
Purging an optimization
Information from a CARL Optim optimization is stored in CARL Source.
It is possible to purge one or more optimizations to limit the data stored in the database. Choose the optimizations and then, in the action menu of the list under the icon
, select the action [Purge optimizations].
This action allows you to purge the data in the database related to the optimization, thus making the optimization details inaccessible.
However, the associated line still exists in the optimization history to allow traceability, but the optimization status has changed to "Purged".
You can purge optimizations that are in any of the following states: AWAITINGVALID, VALIDATED, REJECTED, ERROR.
Purging the cost matrix
This section is relevant only if you are using an optimization model in VRP (Vehicle Routing Problem) mode.
The cost matrix is used to calculate travel times between different addresses so that they can be considered during optimization.
The cost matrix is constantly updated with new addresses provided, but it is useful to purge the cost matrix from time to time to account for any changes (new road, construction, closed roads, etc.).
In the action menu of the list under the icon
, select the action [Purge cost matrix]. This action deletes all existing data, and as a result, the distance calculations are recalculated.
