Medical device vigilance is a process that consists in sharing information on defective biomedical equipment with all facilities concerned.
The information is centralized by the French National Agency for Medicines and Health Products (ANSM).

In CARL Source, use:

• ascendant medical device vigilance to report an anomaly on an equipment item.
• top-down medical device vigilance to take into account information coming from the ANSM.
