This form gives you the possibility of reporting disputed quantities.

In this way, you have complete tracking of deliveries and particularly possible discrepancies between:

• what the supplier has declared as delivered
• and what you estimate as actually delivered.

A dispute is declared for a specific PR or order; see Receiving [General].

The causes for dispute may be, for example:

• Not delivered,
• Damage,
• Non-compliant item.

 

Example

The PR or order line consists of 15 units of a given item.

The delivery note you receive shows a quantity of 15 but you only count 13 units (or 2 of them are so damaged that you reject them):

1. Enter 15 for the quantity delivered,
2. In the dispute form, enter a disputed quantity of 2, select the cause, and enter a comment if you wish.

This is the equivalent of receiving a quantity of 13, but you keep a record of the discrepancy between the quantity on the delivery note and the quantity received.

 

Form details

The upper portion of the form reiterates the delivery information. They cannot be changed in this form.

The lower portion contains information specific to the dispute:

• Disputed quantity: Quantity that you consider not delivered compared to the quantity indicated as delivered.
• Dispute: To be selected from the possible causes of dispute (the list can be configured).
• Comment: To specify, if necessary, the degree or cause of damage, an item delivered erroneously, etc.
