Custom forms are created exclusively by duplicating another form.

The user can choose to duplicate a "Standard" form provided by CARL Source:

• Task detail form:
  • Work request
  • Work order

• Operation detail form:
  • Simple
  • Diagnosis
  • Measurement reading
  • Asset movement

• Asset detail form
• Asset search form
• Detail form of a location
• Main structure point detail form
• Detail form of a template
• Item detail form
• Detail form of a prepared inventory

... orany other "Customized form" created previously.

 

Procedure

The “Duplicate” action on an existing form may be initiated in two ways:

• Either from the list of existing CARL Touch forms, by selecting a form from the list and then clicking on the button.
• or from the detail screen for the form to be duplicated, by clicking on the button .

After duplication, CARL Source displays a detail screen for the new form: this screen shows all attributes of the original form (sorted in the same way by order number) and prompts the user to enter a "Code" to identify the new custom form.
